This episode we turn our attention to Japan and the exciting adventures coming out of the English edition of Weekly Shonen Jump.  We touch briefly on Jump Start series Best Blue, take a look at what’s going on in Black Clover, get wowed by the next phase of One Piece, get hungry with Toriko & Food Wars, and marvel at the effortlessness of My Hero Academia. Then we take a look at D.Grey Man as the latest Jump Back series.

Afterward we take a look at Top Shelf’s reprinting of Eddie Campbell’s Bacchus Vol.1, Kazue Kato’s Time Killers short story collection, then ramble into talk about Ultraman, Godzilla and Doctor Who.

This episode we introduce a new format to the show, were each episode is focused on one title or the other. This episode we take a look at 2000 AD and its sister title the Judge Dredd Megazine. In Judge Dredd fallen Wally Squad Judge Aimee Nixon takes her revenge on Mega-City One. In Absalom, Harry Absalom recruits new allies to his cause. In Outlier, Caul meets his makers. In Helium, high flying adventures. And in Jaegir, Kapiten-Inspector Atalia gets caught in a Souther trap. Meanwhile in the Megazine, Judge Dredd works to uncover the secrets of El Maldito, Demon Nic is at the mercy of Sister Mercy, Brit-City Psi Judge Lillian Storm does… something? in Storm Warning, and Colonial Marshal Lawson tries to unravel who’s trying to kill who in Lawless. Also, we take a look at the twisted nature of Si Spurrier’s The Vort reprint.

Also this episode we talk about Zenith Phase 1, Fables 150, and Savage Dragon Archives 2.

This episode Jim and Zac take on Weekly Shonen Jump 29-32 to witness the end of One Piece’s latest arc, and the exit of Naruto’s latest return. While 2000 AD offers the return of Jaegir , and the continuing adventures of Judge Dredd, Helium, and Absalom. Then they turn to the latest issue of the Judge Dredd Megazine for its big jumping-on potential, and get excited for the return of Lawless and the arrival of Paul Grist’s Demin Nic. While also expressing their opinions on yet more Brit-Cit Judges.

It’s a hyper-stuffed episode of action adventure excellence!

In the very first episode Jim & Zac take on 2000 AD Progs 1931 – 1934 and Weekly Shonen Jump issues 25 – 28 for May/June 2015 . They talk about the latest chapters of Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Slaine, My Hero Academia, One-Punch Man, World Trigger, One Piece, Food Wars, Seraph of the End, Blue Exorcist, and the final chapter of Gakkyu Hotei. And new series Helium, Step it Up, and DevilyMan.

Afterward they take the extra time to talk about some other comics they’re reading, including; League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Century, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency, and Charley’s War.
